Nine genres, ninety sub-styles

What the drum generator can lean toward, and how far. Influences, not presets.

A reference genre is data that steers the generator from outside: each sub-style is a handful of hand-authored sixteen-step grids, folded into step weights and velocity weights that pull the model toward that feel. They are influences, not presets: nothing is played back, and the Influence knob sets how hard they pull. Pick a genre with no sub-style and the genre's own kick and snare tendencies apply; pick a sub-style and its grids shape the result.

Jazz on a straight-sixteenth grid approximates swing the way the Blues Rock shuffle does; a real triplet grid is a separate feature. The models and the post-processing are described under the generation model.
